The spacious tasting room fashioned after the century-old Kinneybrook Ranch cattle barn that once occupied this very site, is a cheery place to sip opulent, golden Chardonnay, old-vine Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon layered with briary-black fruit and sturdy tannins. Their sprawling estate is a lovely place to unload with a glass of wine and snacks in the tranquil picnic area shaded by decades old oaks and surrounded by fountains and a reflecting pool. Mountain Top tastings available Friday thru Sunday. Reservations required two days in advance.

In the heart of the Sonoma-Carneros area, the tasting room within its 1800-square-foot winery is adorned with Italian artwork and sparkling, Venetian-style glass chandeliers. Owned by Cline (located across the street), many of their Italian-style selections, such as Pinot Grigio, Barbera, Primitivo and Sangiovese have old world flair infused with new world flavors. This is also home to their highly touted olive oil company, The Olive Press.

Itâs a soothing place to sip and spend a couple of hours wandering past the six spring-fed ponds and blossoming gardens with over 5000 fragrant rose bushes and dozens of wafting willow trees.
